INFORMATION
The Tree House houses both permanent and temporary exhibitions. It is a space dedicated to nature, which is widely represented by a variety of fish from the Limousin region, all sorts of frogs and toads, insects, bees, etc. You can watch live animations aimed at making both children and adults aware of the intricacies and workings of nature. The voyage of discovery takes place both outdoors with a visit to the arboretum and the scented garden and indoors with the visit to the Tree House.

Animal Area: beehives under glass, vivarium, aquarium
Educational and exhibition Areas: Conference room with projection facilities, a classroom and laboratory
The Arboretum in the Parc de l'Angle
Located between the Massif du Plateau de Millevaches et des Monédiéres [the slopes of local hill ranges], the arboretum at Chamberet covers an area of some ten hectares. In it you can discover typical Limousin species of trees including beeches, birches, traditional oaks, etc. But you’ll also discover exotic, indeed rare, trees: Catalpas Arocaria from Chile, Bald Cypresses, etc. The collection comprises 105 species of trees. Numerous hardwoods and conifers from local forests are on display as well as more exotic varieties such as the ginkgo or even the Araucaria from Chile.
Come and discover protected natural environments: a peat bog, a teaching pool, a willow plantation, a bamboo field, a heather-strewn landscape.
